About Sinu-Zam™
Sinu-Zam™ is a patient specific customized, combined antibiotic and anti-fungal medication therapy for the treatment and long-term prevention of chronic sinusitis caused by airborne allergies from fungus and mold.
Antibiotics and over-the-counter decongestants are widely used to treat chronic sinusitis. However, antibiotics alone are not effective for the treatment of chronic sinusitis because they target bacteria, not fungus.
For fungal allergy sinusitis sufferers that have antibiotic allergies, an alternative antibiotic can be compounded with an anti-fungal preparation to meet the patient’s exact and specific treatment requirement.
Sinu-Zam™ can also be dispensed without an antibiotic for fungal allergy sufferers that only need anti-fungal medication to be used daily for prevention of allergic fungal sinusitis.
